Summary: Karma's got a new toy to target and it's not Nagisa! Karmanami / Karma x Manami
I don't own Assassination Classroom or else I would have spammed that thing with so many Karmanmi scenes.
Please forgive any mistakes, both character-wise and grammatically-wise. I don't have time to re-read or edit things.

Nagisa watched with
exasperated sympathy as he sat in his usual seat in Class E. Several chairs
away, Karma was sitting backwards on the seat in front of Okuda, a cheerful
smile on his face as he continued mercilessly teasing her. They’d only started
going out a few days ago when, much to Nagisa’s relief, Karma had stopped
teasing him in favor of turning his attentions to his easily flustered
girlfriend.
Gone were the days when Karma
and Nakamura would team up and force him into female clothes so that they could
take pictures of him cross dressing. Instead Karma would spend the day
searching for his girlfriend and hovering over her, poking and prodding the
lavender eyed girl until she was sputtering random words due to her sheer level
of embarrassment.
...Nagisa could only pity her
from afar in fear that Karma would temporarily shift his attentions on back on
him or worse, decide that he was getting in the way of his fun.
He could still remember the
first day it was known that the two was going out.
Nagisa entered
inside the classroom, there being just a few minutes before their break ended,
when he sensed the bloodlust hovering in the air. He stilled for just a few
seconds before recognizing it. It was true that there was a dangerous tinge in
the air, but it felt more like a warning if anything. Not to mention, it felt
like it was coming from the center of the room... right where a certain Okuda
Manami’s seat was in Class E.
“K-Karma-kun,” Manami squeaked as she was seated across Karma’s lap while he hummed delightedly to himself. His finger was
twirling around the edge of her braid while he casually looked around the room.
His face looked so calm and serene... almost taunting anyone to get near them.
Nagisa and the rest
of their classmates knew better, though. That was the look of a man that was on
the hunt... the hunt of anyone that dared to get in his way. And apparently in
this case, it was to warn them to stay the hell away and that Okuda Manami was
clearly taken.
Fortunately the day had ended
with no fatalities other than maybe Manami’s heart due to how long Karma held
onto her. Apparently he found her flustered face so hilariously cute that he’d
almost continued to cuddle her way into their lessons. It didn’t help that
their most fervent supporter, their octopus-like teacher, almost even gave them
the okay to study like that during their lessons, before deciding against it
when Okuda couldn't concentrate... for obvious reasons.
Now that the two being an item
was becoming a normal thing and known within their class, instead of a
dangerous possessive red haired devil, they were now regularly seeing a
mischievous little demon who loved teasing his girlfriend.
“Manami-chan,” Karma said cheerful as he appeared
out of the blue from behind her. She was barely able to release a squeak before
he playfully wrapped his arms around her. “Feed me!”
Manami remained frozen on her seat while her
friends stared at her in a mixture of pity and amusement. “K-K-Karma-kun.”
“We’re going out now,” he crowed unabashedly and
rested his chin on her shoulder, knowing well enough the effect he had on her.
The look on her face was so hilarious and adorable. “And I forgot to bring
lunch. Don’t you think it’s so sad to keep your boyfriend starving when you
have that delicious homemade bento? I think I remember you telling me that you
make it yourself every morning.”
“Mooching off of your poor girlfriend?” Nakamura
asked with a snicker.
“Of course not,” Karma said with a mischievous smile,
delighted that his partner in crime was aiding him in his endeavor. “I plan on
treating my girlfriend out as thanks after class. You can come to my place
again.”
“Oo, you guys barely started dating and you’re
already going to his house alone?” Nakamura said with perfectly practiced tone
of amazement. Manami’s eyes were as wide as dinner plates as now as she looked
frantically between the dynamic duo, trying to figure out a way to get out of
his mess. “I thought your parents are never home, Karma.”
“They ar-mph,” whatever words Karma was going to
say was silenced when a piece of fried chicken was unceremoniously shoved into
his mouth by a flustered Manami. Karma chewed on the delicious, though roughly
delivered, piece of meat and sighed dramatically as though it was the most
heavenly thing he’d ever eaten. “Another one!”
Nagisa almost shook his head
in pity at that time, especially since Manami had the horror... er... honor of
having been attacked on both sides by Karma and
Nakamura. There weren’t many in the class who could survive a combo attack like
that.
And now... Okuda was
desperately trying to avoid looking at Karma right now.
“K-Karma-kun,” Okuda pleaded
with her face turned to the side, trying to block out the sound of the amused
chuckles and giggles of the few students inside of the classroom. He hadn’t
done anything but stare deeply into her eyes, but that had been enough to turn
her face a brilliant shade of red. Each time she’d try and look away, Karma
would ‘sadly’ remark about how she couldn’t even look at her dear ole
boyfriend. Even now, with her eyes clenched shut, she could still see those
mesmerizing piercing eyes staring at her, practically seeing right through her.
“But I thought you said you
liked me,” there was a slight pout in his words and if Okuda’s eyes were open,
she would have seen the most delighted smile on Karma’s face. If he’d known
just how fun it was to tease her like this, he would have asked her out ages
ago. “How can I believe you when you can’t even look at me?”
Nagisa almost sighed. With
Okuda’s shy personality and Karma’s mischievous one, it was a wonder how long
they’d last as a couple. Would he grow tired of her reactions sooner or later
or would she lose her patience and go off on him first? Most people wouldn’t be
able to deal with being teased constantly like this without eventually losing
it in the end. Then again, Nagisa had a hard time imagining Okuda losing her
temper.
“I like Karma-kun!” Okuda
cried out, misunderstanding his words in that she hadn’t been honest with her
feelings when she’d confessed to him. Her eyes flung open and she stared
straight into his eyes, her hand pressed against her chest as she hastily said
her confession once more. “I really like Karma-kun.”
The red haired boy froze and,
to everyone’s surprise, a brilliant shade of red encroached his cheeks while
his eyes grew comically wide. Karma, apparently speechless and taken off guard
by the bold declaration, could only stare dumbly at Okuda as he struggled to
regain his composure.
Again, poor Okuda
misunderstood his reactions and started panicking a bit. What if she gave him
the wrong impression? What if he thought she didn’t like him anymore? The words
then began started tumbling out of her mouth as she forced all of the truth to
come pouring out. “I really like you, Karma-kun! I meant it when I said that I
liked you a-and it made me really happy when you said you liked me too. W-When
you held my hand, I was so happy that I didn’t know what to do! I-I also like
feeding you lunch and intentionally pack more so that you can have some! Also
when you walked me to school this morning, I-I was so nervous because I thought
it was a dream and didn’t want to wake up, so I-.”
Nagisa smothered his laughter
at the look on Karma’s face. To others, it appeared as though Karm was stunned
by the situation, but Nagisa, having known Karma for years, recognized that
Karma was actually getting very flustered by Okuda’s words. To make things
worse, because he was too bothered by her words, all he could do was stare and
listen as she went on and on about how much she adored him.
“Ah, I guess Karma-kun finally
got what was coming to him,” Nagisa looked up to see Kayano taking a seat
behind him, an amused giggle hidden by her hand. “There was a bet going on
amongst the girls as to how long it’ll take for Manami-chan to reverse the
situation on him. Karma-kun should have known better than to tease her like
that.”
“Who won?”
“I did, of course,” she said
proudly, flashing him a V-sign.
Nagisa laughed and glanced
back at where Karma and Okuda sat. He proceeded to laugh even harder when he
saw that Okuda, who had clenched her eyes shut again out of sheer
embarrassment, was listing even more of her affections towards her red-faced
boyfriend, while Karma had his fist pressed against his lips as he was now the
one desperately trying to look away from her.
